Our City field has been relocated to it's new location! Currently our City field has 20 buildings and will continue to grow. We are in the process of adding additional props, including vehicles, pipes, and barrels.

Our Forts field is actually 2 fields that we combine as 1 to play larger games. The Forts field consists of the Upper Fort and the Lower Fort and includes several bunkers, woods, and hilly terrain.

Paintball is the perfect activity for birthday parties, church groups, bachelor parties, college groups, and much more!

We have special Group Rates for groups of 10 or more, plus discounts for larger groups!

Group Rate - $35 per person

Includes Field Fee, Standard Rental Equipment, AirPass, and 500

Paintballs per person for up to 4 hours.

Reserve a group of 15 or more and get 1 free player!

To make a reservation:

- Check the Calendar and make sure that the date and time you want is available. If you have a question about a specific day, please call us.

- Decide what time you would like to come: 9am-1pm or 1pm-5pm Saturday, 1pm-5pm Sunday, or choose your own time for Monday-Friday reservations.

- Secure your reservation with a $100 deposit. You can either call us and pay the deposit by credit card over the phone, send us a check, come by the field, or click on the "Online Reservation" button to the right to pay online.

IMPORTANT - Do not follow directions to the field from Google, MapQuest or any other map site. They will take you down impassable back roads or roads that do not exist.

From Jacksonville: Take Hwy 21 south to Whites Gap Rd and turn left. Go 4.6 miles and turn left onto Hollingsworth Rd. Go 3.9 miles. Hurricane Mountain Paintball is on the left, across from the Nances Creek Community Center. Take the driveway to the top of the hill.

From Anniston/Oxford: Take Hwy 21 north to Whites Gap Rd and turn right Go 4.6 miles and turn left onto Hollingsworth Rd. Go 3.9 miles. Hurricane Mountain Paintball is on the left, across from the Nances Creek Community Center. Take the driveway to the top of the hill.

From Gadsden/Piedmont: Take Hwy 278 toward Hwy 9 south. Take Hwy 9 for 6.5 miles to Hollingsworth Rd and turn right. Go approximately 1 mile. Hurricane Mountain Paintball is on the right, across from the Nances Creek Community Center. Take the driveway to the top of the hill.

From Heflin / I-20 Exit 199: Take Hwy 9 north toward Heflin/Hwy 78 approximately 1.3 miles. Turn left onto Hwy 78/Hwy9 at the stop sign. Go 4.3 miles and turn right to follow Hwy 9. Continue on Hwy 9 for 11.5 miles and turn left onto Whites Gap Rd (flashing yellow light). Go approximately 1 mile and turn right onto Hollingsworth Rd. Go 3.9 miles. Hurricane Mountain Paintball is on the left, across from the Nances Creek Community Center. Take the driveway to the top of the hill.

FAQs
First Things First: Before coming out to play at Hurricane Mountain, check our calendar to make sure that we are open and not reserved. Download the appropriate Waiver and Release of Liability Form from our Home page (we have them available at the Pro Shop too). Players under the age of 18 must have their form signed by their parent or legal guardian. All players must be able to provide picture identification for proof of age and/or rental equipment. We are open almost every Saturday from 9am-5pm. We are also open on Sundays from 1pm-5pm for CALL AHEAD GROUPS ONLY, which requires a 24 hour advance notice. We are also open during the week for reservations. Be sure to show up at least 30 minutes early so that we can get you set up and ready to play. Call ahead if you need rental equipment and we can make sure we have what you need when you arrive. Then get your friends together and come out and play!Weather: In the event of inclement weather (thunderstorms, tornado warnings, etc.), all games will be postponed until the weather clears. We will play in rain, snow, etc., unless it poses a danger to the players or staff. Please call ahead if the weather is bad and we can tell you whether we will be open or not. Reservations may be rescheduled due to dangerous weather without losing the deposit. Walk-On Play: We are open for Walk-On Play Saturdays from 9am-5pm. We are open Sundays from 1pm-5pm for CALL AHEAD GROUPS ONLY, which reqires 24 hour advanced notice. Walk-ons pay the individual rates listed on the Prices page. Our Sunday Special is only $35 and includes the field fee, AirPass, rental equipment, and 500 rounds. Please check our calendar before coming for group reservations or closings. Rental equipment availability may be limited. Players using their own equipment must have their gun chronographed before playing and at any time requested.Paint: We are a "Field Paint Only" field, which simply means only paint purchased from our pro shop can be used at the field. For more information on this, please give us a call.Rental Equipment: Rental packages include a Tippmann 98 Custom (or Spyder Sonix), hopper, CO2 tank, mask, barrel blocking device, and all day air. We also have upgraded markers available. These include the Tippmann US Army Alpha Black Tactical Edition and others. We also have other items available for rent including any part of the rental package at individual prices. Rental equipment availability may be limited. Please call ahead to reserve your equipment. Players will be responsible for rental equipment that is lost or damaged (by reckless use or mistreatment). Players will be charged $7 for lost barrel sleeves.Food: We offer food and drinks for reasonable prices. Our lunch menu varies week to week, so if you really need to know, just call us. The menu will typically include some type of sandwiches, hot dogs, or pizza. Feel free to bring your own food, drinks, coolers, grills, whatever. Just be warned - if you're good on the grill, you may have some unexpected visitors (refs, owners, just to name a few!). For group reservations, we can plan out your lunch for you. Just let us know! Free Play Passes/Discounts: If you have a Free Play Pass, discount, or Gift Certificate, be sure to let us know when you sign in! Free Play Passes cover rental equipment, all day air, and the field fee. A minimum of 500 paintballs must be purchased at the field that day. Free Play Passes cannot be used for private groups, parties, or during special events. Passes are limited to one per person.Do I need my own equipment? - Hurricane Mountain Paintball has rental equipment available. Rental equipment is given on a first-come, first-served basis, however, players may make reservations for their group to ensure rental equipment availability.Are their any age limits? - The minimum age for paintball participants is 10 years of age. Players under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by their parents. All players are required to show picture identification (if available). For Laser Tag, players must be at least 6 years old.What is Laser Tag? - The new Eagle Eye Lag System from Tippman and Predator Games combines the fun of laser tag with the thrill of paintball. The Laser Tag system uses real paintball guns, replacing the hopper with a computer and the barrel with a laser barrel. Laser Tag is played on the same fields as paintball (but not at the same time!). Laser Tag is available for players at least 6 years old. What about food? - We offer snacks and drinks at the pro shop and we also offer a lunch special. Please call for more details.Is paintball safe? - Paintball is very safe as long as you follow the rules and use common sense. Any severe injuries come from people simply not following rules - usually removing their mask when they shouldn't. There are, of course, minor injuries such as strains and sprains that are associated with all action sports and paintballs can leave minor bruises. As a whole, paintball is very safe, does not lead to major injuries and only hurts a little bit. Can I combine discounts and Free Play Passes - No. Free Play Passes and other discounts can not be combined. Neither can other discounts be combined together.
